Itinerary Summary

Day 1-2: CAIRO
Explore the ancient wonder of the world at the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Dwell deep into the history of the Pharaohs at the Egyptian Museum. Take time to marvel at the beautiful mosques in the “City of Thousand Minarets” as you wander around the ancient Souk (bazaar).

Day 3-4: ALEXANDRIA
A port on the Mediterranean Sea, Uncover the history in the underground catacombs at Kom Ash-Shuqqafa. Explore the ancient Roman Burial site and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, home to over eight million books.

Day 5-6: ASWAN
The Nubian villages around Aswan give the city and Egypt its strong African link. Explore the islands of Elephantine and the beautiful Philae Temple. An early morning visit to the architectural splendour at Abu Simbel is simply a must.

Day 7: FELUCCA DOWN THE NILE (SAIL BOAT)
Relax and enjoy the journey as we get an amazing opportunity to sail down the River Nile on a felucca (Sail boat) and spend overnight on deck of the felucca to open starry sky. Our Nubian crew will make this journey of yours memorable.

Day 8-10: LUXOR
The site for the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, Luxor is any history buffs delight. The amazing West Bank Necropolis; the Valley of Kings, the Valley of the Queens is an insight into the lives of the Pharaohs. The Stunning and marvellous Karnack Temple is an architectural wonder.

Day 11: CAIRO
We arrive early from our overnight train journey from Luxor. Nothing planned for today; you have time to explore the Souk Khan El Khalili for some souvenirs.

Day 12: Mt. SINAI
Walk or ride a camel a top Mt. Sinai, Holy Mountain where hundreds of pilgrims travel to pay their respect, for stunning dessert vistas. Visit the St. Katherine monastery which houses the biblical burning bush.

Day 13-14: DAHAB
Snorkel the Red Sea for some beautiful marine life, explore the waters and be awed by the coral reefs, Relax and enjoy the Bedouin hospitality in the numerous beach side restaurants and bars.

Day 15: CAIRO
Our drive back past the Suez Canal brings us back to the hustle and bustle of Cairo.

Day 16: DEPARTURE DAY
End of journey.
