WILD NEPAL
14 NIGHTS / 15 DAYS
Day 1: Bhaktapur (Start day)
You will be transferred to Bhaktapur upon arrival & the group meeting is held in the evening where you will receive a briefing.
Day 2: Kathmandu
Today we explore the old town of Bhaktapur and head off into the hustle and bustle city of Kathmandu to sample the cultural icons of Pashupatinath, Boudanath and other significant sites.
Day 3: Bandipur
We escape the city to the medieval town known for its ancient Newari architecture, Bandipur. Along the way we stop over at the Trisuli Rafting center. Beautiful ancient Newari houses and a lovely cosy village with stunning views of the Himalayas await us.
Day 4-7: Trek Poon Hill
We start our 4 day trek to Poon Hill to witness a mesmerising sunrise on Machapuchare (Fish Tail). Along the trek you will witness a beautiful Himalayan landscape of dense Rhododendron forest and the high mountains of the Annapurna Range, Nilgiri South and the Dhaulagiri. We will be staying in quaint teahouses and will get to experience the life of the Sherpas.
Day 8- 9: Pokhara:
After a short trek down we will drive & arrive late afternoon to Pokhara. Time to put our feet up and enjoy a drink in one of the bars in Pokhara. Pokhara is famous for its array of outdoor activities like hand gliding, kayaking and short walks etc. The next day is a buffer/ recuperating day. Optional activities, Tandem paragliding can be arranged, or simply chill out in one of the many bars/cafe in Pokhara.
Day 10-11: Rafting Seti Khola(Camping)
After a night relaxing in Pokhara we hit the wild rapids of the Seti Khola, one of Nepal’s famous rafting rivers. The river rapids are grade II – III. The excellent crew will make sure that our ride is extreme but very safe. Our days spent on the river rapids are rewarded with tranquil camping round the fire at night.
Day 12-13: Royal Chitwan National Park
Royal Chitwan National Park is famous for being the recluse of the rare One Horned Rhinos and the very elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. We have exciting days of safari which include jungle walks, elephant safari and river canoeing.
Day 14: Kathmandu
Our wild adventure ends back where we began, Kathmandu for some last minute souvenir shopping. We will be flying back to KTM from Chitwan.
Day 15: End of Journey
Today is our departure day.
